WHAT IS A LIQUID ALTERNATIVE?

A Liquid Alternative is a type of asset class that a Mutual Fund can invest in to provide greater diversification beyond the traditional asset classes such as stocks and bonds. Liquid Alternatives aim to provide exposure to alternative investments, such as commodities or derivatives, while maintaining a high enough level of liquidity that permits these assets to be bought and sold on a daily basis.
